Senior Database Administration Analyst
Conduent
• Install, configure, and maintain Oracle, SQL Server, and other DB platforms (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.). • Perform upgrades, patches, and migrations across environments. • Monitor database performance and implement tuning strategies. • Implement and maintain database security policies, user access controls, and encryption standards. • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOX). • Design and manage backup/recovery strategies. • Analyze query performance and optimize SQL code. • Work closely with developers to design efficient schemas and queries. • Provide production support and troubleshoot database issues.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a DBA with Oracle and SQL Server.
- Strong knowledge of relational database design, normalization, and indexing.
- Proficiency in SQL scripting, PL/SQL, and T‑SQL.
- Experience with database monitoring tools (OEM, SQL Profiler, etc.).
- Familiarity with cloud database services (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, Oracle Cloud).
