• Analyze, maintain, and optimize PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL database environments to ensure high availability, performance, and data integrity. • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, optimize SQL queries, and improve data retrieval efficiency. • Design and maintain database architecture, including schemas, tables, indexes, stored procedures, and security permissions. • Manage and support legacy databases and Platform as a Service (PaaS) database solutions. • Monitor systems for availability and oversee database replication, mirroring, failover, and disaster recovery processes. • Implement backup, restore, and recovery strategies, including point-in-time recovery and WAL archiving. • Support advanced PostgreSQL features such as JSON, full-text search, and PostGIS for geospatial queries. • Generate queries and reports using tools such as pgAdmin, psql, and third-party database clients. • Collaborate with developers, analysts, and infrastructure teams to design, implement, and troubleshoot database solutions. • Assess future storage and performance needs and maintain accurate technical documentation. • Provide recommendations on database policies, procedures, and emerging technologies. • Communicate effectively with customers, stakeholders, and technical specialists. • Contribute to team objectives and take on additional responsibilities as needed.

• Design and evolve database architecture across Acronis cloud products, ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and performance • Define and promote best practices for relational, NoSQL, time-series, and vector databases across different workloads • Design and review data migration approaches, ensuring data integrity, security, and minimal service impact • Contribute to database automation initiatives in collaboration with Database DevOps and Infrastructure teams • Participate in data quality initiatives across multiple systems, improving consistency and correctness of data • Work closely with engineering teams on database design decisions, performance optimization, and complex data issues • Support adoption of AI-driven and analytics-oriented data solutions • Provide architectural reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing across teams

• Design, set up, configure, and manage Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL clusters. • Configure parameters, maintenance windows, monitoring, and scaling strategies. • Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and operational readiness. • Perform user, role, and privilege mapping from Oracle to PostgreSQL. • Implement least-privilege access, role hierarchies, and security best practices. • Support audit and compliance requirements. • Configure, run, monitor, and optimize AWS DMS tasks (Full Load and CDC). • Troubleshoot DMS latency, data mismatches, and performance issues. • Tune DMS settings for large-volume and high-throughput workloads. • Perform server and database performance tuning (CPU, memory, I/O, connections). • Tune PostgreSQL parameters, autovacuum, indexing, and query behavior. • Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks. • Design and implement backup and restore strategies. • Define and test disaster recovery (DR) and failover procedures. • Support cross-region replication and recovery drills. • Lead post–go-live stabilization activities. • Monitor production workloads and resolve incidents. • Act as L3 escalation point for database-related production issues. • Provide operational documentation and handover support.

•Design, implement, and administer Microsoft SQL Server environments (on-premises and/or cloud) •Experience with On Prem SQL, Azure SQL and Managed Instance. •Strong experience work with large Terabyte databases. •Develop, optimize, and maintain complex T-SQL code including stored procedures, functions, views, triggers, and indexes •Perform advanced query tuning and execution plan analysis to improve performance •Monitor database health, capacity, and performance using native and third-party tools •Implement and manage High Availability and Disaster Recovery (HA/DR) solutions (Always On) •Expert level setup and administration of SQL clusters and always on Availability Groups. •Manage and implement Change Data Capture •Manage backup, restore, and recovery strategies; perform regular DR testing •Ensure database security through role-based access, encryption, auditing, and compliance controls •Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, root-cause analysis, and performance bottlenecks •Automate administrative tasks using T-SQL, SQL Agent jobs, and PowerShell •Collaborate with developers to enforce database design and coding best practices •Support application releases, schema changes, and data migrations with minimal downtime •Experience working with sensitive data and removing data from lower environments. •Strong experience working with Auditing solutions – SQL Audit, Extended Events or custom monitoring accounts and user access.
