• Design and evolve database architecture across Acronis cloud products, ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and performance • Define and promote best practices for relational, NoSQL, time-series, and vector databases across different workloads • Design and review data migration approaches, ensuring data integrity, security, and minimal service impact • Contribute to database automation initiatives in collaboration with Database DevOps and Infrastructure teams • Participate in data quality initiatives across multiple systems, improving consistency and correctness of data • Work closely with engineering teams on database design decisions, performance optimization, and complex data issues • Support adoption of AI-driven and analytics-oriented data solutions • Provide architectural reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing across teams

• Design, set up, configure, and manage Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL clusters. • Configure parameters, maintenance windows, monitoring, and scaling strategies. • Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and operational readiness. • Perform user, role, and privilege mapping from Oracle to PostgreSQL. • Implement least-privilege access, role hierarchies, and security best practices. • Support audit and compliance requirements. • Configure, run, monitor, and optimize AWS DMS tasks (Full Load and CDC). • Troubleshoot DMS latency, data mismatches, and performance issues. • Tune DMS settings for large-volume and high-throughput workloads. • Perform server and database performance tuning (CPU, memory, I/O, connections). • Tune PostgreSQL parameters, autovacuum, indexing, and query behavior. • Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks. • Design and implement backup and restore strategies. • Define and test disaster recovery (DR) and failover procedures. • Support cross-region replication and recovery drills. • Lead post–go-live stabilization activities. • Monitor production workloads and resolve incidents. • Act as L3 escalation point for database-related production issues. • Provide operational documentation and handover support.

• SQL Database Administrator (DBA) is responsible for providing end-to-end database support for all our data systems. • This includes the design, implementation, maintenance, and security of SQL Server and other database platforms (MySQL, PostgreSQL and Cloud DBs) to ensure optimal performance, availability, and data integrity. • You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the stability, performance, and availability of our databases, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a culture of excellence within the team. • Provide 24/7 Database Administration support for our diverse and mission-critical database environments. • Install, configure, manage, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server environments. • Monitor database performance, diagnose issues, and implement performance tuning strategies for queries, indexes, and database configurations. • Implement and manage high availability solutions and disaster recovery plans. • Manage database security, including user permissions, roles, authentication, and encryption. • Upgrade MySQL databases (Community and/or Enterprise editions). • Manage multiple database environments, including production, development, QA, and staging. • Perform regular health checks, capacity planning, and proactive monitoring of databases. • Schedule and manage routine maintenance tasks, and develop scripts to automate administrative and monitoring processes. • Rapidly diagnose and resolve database-related issues and maintain comprehensive documentation for database configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
