Job Description
Entrepreneur in Residence – People & Talent
Dash0
• End-to-End Candidate Experience: Audit and rebuild our recruiting funnel. You’ll ensure that every candidate, whether hired or not, has a world-class experience with Dash0. • Employer Branding: Help us tell our story. You’ll find creative ways to showcase our culture and OpenTelemetry mission to attract top-tier engineering and go-to-market talent. • The Talent "Org" Blueprint: Work on the strategic setup of a scalable talent organization that can handle the pressures of a fast-growing, remote-first environment. • AI & Efficiency: Research, test, and implement AI tools to automate "meaningless toil" in recruiting and HR—from automated scheduling to AI-assisted sourcing and screening. • The Employee Journey: Map out and improve key milestones (onboarding, anniversaries, promotions). • Onboarding & Admin: Own the "Day 1" experience. You’ll manage onboarding logistics, administrative to-dos, and contract amendments, ensuring everything is compliant but human-centric. • Operational Excellence: Identify bottlenecks in our current people processes and propose lean, scalable solutions.
Job Requirements
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: You are a "builder" who thrives in ambiguity. You don't wait for instructions; you find problems and solve them.
- Process Obsession: You love creating structures where there were none. You care about the small details that make a big difference.
- Tech-Savvy & AI-Curious: You are likely the first person among your peers to try a new AI tool and are excited about how technology can humanize (not just automate) HR.
- High Empathy & Communication: You understand that "People Ops" is about people. You have excellent English skills and a knack for clear, transparent communication.
- Fast Learner: You can dive into a technical environment and understand what makes a Cloud Engineer or an OpenTelemetry contributor tick.
Benefits
- High Ownership: You won't be making coffee; you’ll be making decisions that shape our company culture.
- Mentorship: Work directly with Dash0 leadership and experienced founders.
- Remote-First Culture: Work from where you are most productive.
- A "0 to 1" Experience: The rare chance to see exactly how a high-growth startup is built from the inside.
