• Build and lead a high-performing Data and Analytics Engineering function operating effectively across three time zones, with clear ownership, pace, and accountability • Design and evolve a scalable, resilient data platform that underpins trusted reporting, analytics, and AI use cases across the business • Set and execute a clear data platform strategy and roadmap that aligns to business priorities and unlocks measurable value • Enable AI-powered, self-service analytics so teams can answer their own questions quickly, confidently, and without bottlenecks • Dramatically improve data reliability, performance, and trust, making data a dependable foundation for decision-making • Reduce analytics backlog by improving tooling, data models, and ways of working, shifting the team from reactive delivery to proactive enablement • Act as a strategic partner to Product, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, and Operations, translating business needs into durable data solutions • Communicate progress, risks, and trade-offs clearly to senior stakeholders, enabling informed decisions and timely course-correction • Create a culture of ownership, pragmatism, and delivery, where teams take responsibility for outcomes and ship meaningful improvements consistently

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience leading Data Engineering and Analytics Engineering teams
  • Strong hands-on background with modern data stacks
  • Comfortable being hands-on while managing and mentoring senior engineers
  • Product mindset: focused on outcomes, adoption, and impact
  • Strong bias for action and comfort operating with ambiguity
  • Excellent communicator in a distributed, cross-timezone environment
  • Able to challenge ideas constructively and make pragmatic decisions
  • Background working in fast-growing or product-led tech companies
  • Experience building or evaluating Text to SQL or AI-powered analytics tools (added bonus)
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g. Claude, OpenAI/Codex, GitHub Copilot) (added bonus)
  • Experience scaling self-service analytics platforms (added bonus)
