Role Description As a Steampunk Senior Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer, you will work with Technical/Solutions Architects and Business Analysts to translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform. - Develop, test, document and maintain solutions, integrations, and data migration elements of a Salesforce implementation using Salesforce declarative or programmatic development resources such as triggers, workflows, validations, approvals, Apex classes, Visualforce pages and Lightning components. - Execute test plans to ensure quality delivery using test code and unit tests. - Follow coding standards and participate in code reviews during projects to ensure appropriate design patterns are followed. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree and 7 years of work experience. - 5+ years of experience with Salesforce development. - Functional knowledge of Salesforce.com data structure and understanding of how to leverage the tool to meet complex process and reporting requirements. - Must have proven knowledge and practical application of Visualforce, APEX programming, Force.com APIs, and Web Services. - Eligible to obtain and maintain a government security clearance. - Hands-on experience designing, developing, and deploying solutions in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Mobile Studio). - Proficiency in AMPscript and SSJS for dynamic content, personalization, and automation of campaigns. - Strong knowledge of data integration and management between Marketing Cloud and Salesforce CRM, including SQL queries, Data Extensions, and API integration. - Experience with journey orchestration, segmentation strategies, and campaign performance optimization to support marketing automation. - Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer Certification. - Salesforce Developer certification(s). • Lead and own the technical solution design. This includes designing and understanding the complete Agentforce solution which includes topics, instructions, actions with corresponding automation/code, agent deployment methods, and supporting data structures. • Deep dive into the limits and boundaries of Agentforce Agents, finding novel solutions to drive business outcomes. • Collaborate with customers, Project Managers, Solution Architects, Developers and UX Designers to translate business needs into well-architected solutions • Oversee and contribute to all stages of the project lifecycle—from initial design through development, testing, and final deployment • Follow and understand new Salesforce products and technical capabilities
