HRIS Specialist

• Assist in the maintenance of Workday HCM modules, with a focus on Time Tracking • Provide support for Business Process (BP) configurations to meet business requirements • Ensure system optimization, troubleshooting, and continuous improvements • Design and develop custom and ad-hoc reports in Workday, ensuring data accuracy and relevance • Analyze HR data and provide insights to support decision-making • Support Workday enhancements and new feature releases • Collaborate with HR and IT teams to improve system functionality • Act as a support resource for Workday HCM, providing guidance and support to HR teams • Partner with stakeholders across HR, Payroll, and IT to gather requirements and support system changes • Maintain compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 4 - 5 years of experience in Workday HCM
  • Strong expertise in report writing
  • Understanding of all the modules in Workday (specifically in time tracking, absence, compensation, talent & performance)
  • Deep understanding of HR operations
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal)

Role Description The HRIS Manager serves as CorVel’s functional and strategic lead for Human Resources Information Systems. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled HRIS, Payroll, or Data Analytics professional who is ready to step into their first formal people-leadership role. The HRIS Manager will oversee system operations, reporting, data quality, and lead and mentor a small HRIS team. Position will be the primary point of contact for external UKG resources; taking ownership of ongoing project management. This role partners closely with internal HR leadership, Payroll, InfoSec, and IT to maintain a strong control environment, support audits, and continuously improve HR systems in alignment with CorVel’s business needs. This is a remote position.
