Senior People Operations Manager

• Design and implement a Pan-African People and Culture strategy that supports Remoteli’s growth and expansion across multiple African and emerging markets. • Lead and oversee end-to-end people operations, including onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and offboarding processes across multiple jurisdictions. • Develop, implement, and continuously improve scalable HR policies, procedures, and people frameworks that ensure compliance with local labour laws while maintaining organisational consistency. • Ensure people practices effectively scale across multiple countries while respecting local regulations, employment requirements, and cultural contexts. • Partner with senior leadership to support workforce planning, organisational design, and talent strategy aligned with business objectives. • Manage performance management processes, including goal-setting, reviews, feedback cycles, and career development initiatives. • Ensure compliance with employment laws, internal policies, and data protection standards across all regions of operation. • Oversee employee engagement, wellbeing, and culture initiatives that foster inclusion, high performance, and retention across distributed teams. • Manage HR systems, employee data, documentation, and reporting to ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance. • Support managers with coaching, conflict resolution, and employee relations matters across diverse cultural environments. • Analyse people data and metrics to provide insights, reports, and strategic recommendations to leadership. • Lead and mentor junior HR or People Operations team members, ensuring consistent service delivery and adherence to best practices across regions.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organisational Psychology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ professional experience in People Operations, HR Management, or a similar senior HR leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of people operations, HR best practices, and multi-country employment compliance.
  • Demonstrated experience working across multiple countries or cultures, preferably within Pan-African or emerging market contexts.
  • Proven ability to design scalable people frameworks that balance global consistency with local adaptation.
  • Excellent organisational, planning, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence at senior leadership levels.
  • Experience managing HR systems, people data, and reporting tools.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Strategic mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced, scaling, or remote work environments.
