• Manage the people on the software development team, with a focus on coaching and developing our employees through regular 1:1 sessions and frequent feedback. • Responsible for facilitating squad ceremonies adopted by the team, such as Plannings, Refinements, Retrospectives, etc. • Remove impediments for the team. • Review and propose improvements to existing features, services and processes. • Evolve, together with the team, working methods aligned with agile methodologies and a digital culture. • Run sessions with all types of stakeholders to present recent results, collect feedback/insights and align on the product roadmap. • Contribute to defining the squad/product objectives and key metrics, regularly presenting these results to stakeholders (OKRs).
Job Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience leading software development teams for digital products.
- Experience improving processes, products or services.
- Background in software development (having worked as Backend, Full Stack or Frontend).
- Knowledge of facilitation techniques and problem-solving methods.
- Experience working in agile teams (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
- Knowledge of systems architecture.
- Knowledge of mobile platforms.
- Knowledge of support models and prioritization of bug fixes.
- Ability to synthesize information and extract conclusions and action items from abstract conversations or "working meetings."
- Ability to organize deliveries and prioritize tasks.
- Root-cause analysis skills.
- Nice-to-have:
- Experience leading teams during technology and/or process modernization/migrations.
- Experience building development teams from area design through hiring and development, shaping a high-performance structure.
- Knowledge of the stores/franchise and/or retail market.
