Senior Solutions Engineer, Pre-Sales

Prem AI

• Technical Pre-Sales Leadership: Partner with Sales to lead technical discovery, scope solutions, and support complex enterprise deals involving C-level technical and business stakeholders. • Solution Architecture & Design: Design secure, scalable end-to-end architectures for LLM-powered and ML-driven applications, including data flows, deployment models, and integration patterns. • Forward-Deployed Engineering: Build prototypes, proof-of-concepts, and demos showcasing Generative AI and traditional ML use cases tailored to customer environments. • Security & Compliance Support: Support customer conversations around IT security, privacy, and compliance requirements for SaaS deployments. • Customer Technical Engagement: Act as the trusted technical advisor throughout evaluations, pilots, and early production deployments. • GTM Enablement: Enable internal teams with technical narratives, demos, and reference architectures that clearly communicate Prem AI’s value. • Product Feedback Loop: Surface customer insights to Product and Engineering to influence roadmap and improve platform usability. • Deployment Readiness: Help customers plan for production — including cloud architecture, networking considerations, inference infrastructure, and cost awareness.

Job Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years in a technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, sales engineering, or forward-deployed role, working with complex global organizations.
  • Enterprise Exposure: Proven experience managing and presenting to C-level technical and business stakeholders.
  • AI & ML Knowledge: Hands-on experience delivering prototypes for Generative AI and/or traditional ML solutions.
  • Architecture & Infrastructure: Strong understanding of cloud and network architectures and how modern AI systems are deployed.
  • Security & Compliance Awareness: Solid grasp of IT security principles, customer security expectations, and compliance considerations.
  • Programming Foundations: Working knowledge of Python and/or JavaScript, with comfort reading and modifying production code.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to explain technical and business concepts clearly to audiences of all levels, including senior leadership.
  • Ownership Mindset: Comfortable owning ambiguous problems end-to-end and rapidly acquiring new knowledge to unblock progress.
  • Team-First Attitude: Humble, collaborative, and driven by helping teammates.
  • Nice to Have: Familiarity with AI and security compliance standards and experience supporting or participating in enterprise security and compliance reviews.
  • Nice to Have: Prior exposure to confidential computing concepts, including Trusted Execution Environments (TEE), secure enclaves, and privacy-preserving deployment models for AI workloads.
