Job Description
HR Generalist
Lisinski Law Firm
• Serve as a point of contact for team members and leaders, addressing HR-related questions regarding policies, timekeeping, payroll, benefits, and procedures for countries with international / remote EOR team members. • Assist in employee relations matters by conducting investigations including interviewing team members, documenting issues, and escalating concerns when necessary. • Serve as a backup for onboarding, orientation, and offboarding processes when needed to ensure a seamless team member experience, including facilitation of new hire orientation, review of onboarding materials, and conducting exit interviews. • Maintain and update records in HRIS system by performing data entry and recordkeeping duties, tracking changes, and ensuring accuracy and compliance. • Collaborate with HR leadership to implement and support policies, events/programs, initiatives, and best practices that promote a positive workplace culture across the Firm. • Assist in managing HR compliance for international/remote team members who are Rippling EOR (Employer of Record), specific to country labor laws, including compensable time (work schedules/timekeeping), workplace policies, and Firm guidelines. • Work with Rippling and Rippling HR Advisors to ensure policy compliance with existing and new international workplace locations. • Oversee performance management during onboarding and support the annual performance review cycle. • Support HR team members as needed (culture coordinator, talent acquisition, and training) with HR initiatives related to engagement, staffing, and training. • Review and process employee claims related to unemployment, workers’ compensation, leave of absence, and accommodations for all international / remote EOR team members. • Help support benefits administration, including the annual open enrollment process and responding to team member inquiries.
Job Requirements
- Must be fluent in English and Spanish
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in an HR role, preferably as an HR Generalist or in a similar position.
- Knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and employee relations procedures.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally and tactfully.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently in a high-growth, fast-paced work environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with Rippling HRIS is highly desired.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality when handling employee matters.
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
