Talent Acquisition Specialist

• Utilize various sourcing methods such as job boards, social media, networking events, and industry-specific platforms to identify potential candidates. • Craft compelling job postings and advertisements to attract top talent. • Actively engage with passive candidates, building relationships and promoting the company as an employer of choice. • Review resumes and applications to assess candidate qualifications and compatibility with the company's requirements. • Conduct initial phone screenings to evaluate candidates' technical skills, cultural fit, and career aspirations. • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and technical teams. • Maintain a database of potential candidates for current and future job openings. • Regularly update candidate profiles with relevant information and feedback. • Ensure a smooth and efficient candidate experience throughout the recruitment process. • Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and expectations. • Provide guidance on market trends, salary benchmarks, and talent availability. • Facilitate the decision-making process and offer feedback to improve selection. • Assist in extending job offers to selected candidates, including negotiations and explanation of benefits. • Ensure a seamless onboarding process by coordinating with HR and IT departments to set up new employees for success. • Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions, interviews, and hiring outcomes in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). • Generate recruitment reports and metrics to track progress and make data-driven improvements.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years in recruiting for technical roles, especially in software development, data engineering, DevOps, or business consulting.
  • Familiarity with technical methodologies and industry-specific terminology.
  • Experience with interview techniques and assessment methods for technical candidates.
  • Understanding of employment laws and regulations related to recruitment.
  • Certifications in HR or recruitment fields are a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Basic understanding of technical roles and skills relevant to software development, data engineering, and DevOps.
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Adept at using various sourcing methods and social media platforms for recruitment.
  • Adaptability and a willingness to learn about emerging technologies and industry trends.
