Finance Manager – Commercial Finance

The Finance Manager will oversee the financial performance, reporting accuracy, and governance framework of the organisation. This senior leadership role is responsible for managing the end-to-end financial reporting function, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing high-quality financial insight to support Board-level and executive decision-making. - Lead the delivery of accurate and timely monthly financial reporting and Board reporting packs. - Oversee preparation of annual financial statements and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. - Accountable for technical accounting matters, including interpretation of new standards and complex transactions. - Contribute to long-term forecasting, annual budgeting, and business planning processes. - Oversee finance operations including transactional services, ensuring appropriate controls and governance. - Coordinate external audits and manage tax, legal, and regulatory compliance across financial functions. - Review, enhance, and implement financial systems, processes, and control frameworks. - Manage the Group’s insurance program and broader financial risk management processes. - Safeguard contractual and commercial risk through disciplined governance practices. - Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to ensure capability, accountability, and performance. - Provide strategic financial guidance to executive stakeholders. - Champion continuous improvement and strengthen financial management across the organisation. - Other position-level duties as they arise.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
  • CA or CPA qualification (mandatory).
  • 10+ years’ commercial finance experience, including senior leadership responsibility.
  • Big 4 background or equivalent technical exposure (highly regarded given salary band expectations).
  • Strong technical accounting expertise and financial reporting capability.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and developing finance teams.
  • Advanced Excel skills including financial modelling.
  • Proven ability to engage with executive stakeholders and present financial insights at Board level.
  • Strong commercial acumen and risk awareness.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professional judgement.
