Headhunter, Talent Sourcer
Catena
• Identify, engage, and convert passive candidates through tailored outbound strategies • Pre-qualify candidates to ensure strong role, compensation, and motivation alignment • Deliver a steady flow of high-quality, TA-ready candidates for active client roles • Adapt headhunting strategies based on pipeline health and feedback • Maintain high response and conversion rates through personalized outreach • Partner with Talent Acquisition Partners to refine targeting and calibration • Ensure all headhunted candidates are accurately logged and staged in the ATS • Maintain clean, up-to-date pipelines for TA handoff • Monitor candidate progress and follow up to prevent drop-offs • Collaborate with the Talent Sourcing Coordinator to ensure pipeline hygiene
Job Requirements
- Proven experience headhunting passive, currently employed candidates
- Strong outbound and persuasion skills with a consultative approach
- Ability to personalize outreach at scale without sacrificing quality
- Strong pre-qualification and alignment skills
- KPI-driven mindset focused on response rate, acceptance rate, and pipeline quality
- Clear, professional communicator capable of representing premium startup brands
- Experience recruiting for US-based startups or scale-ups (Nice-to-Haves)
- Agency background with a strong outbound headhunting focus (Nice-to-Haves)
- Experience working on specialized, senior, or hard-to-fill roles (Nice-to-Haves)
- Advanced LinkedIn Recruiter (search logic, projects, InMail optimization)
- ATS systems (Workable strongly preferred)
- Google Workspace & Notion
- Slack
