Cloud DevOps Engineer
Uni Systems
• Configure, and administer cloud and hybrid infrastructure and applications. • Define configuration management and deployment strategies. • Ensure availability and stability of production environments both cloud and on premises. • Develop, and design software automation and scripts to orchestrate cloud and virtualization technologies with defined scope, schedule and expectations with a focus on Operations. • Provides subject matter expert technical support to customers using Cloud Platform products, solutions and APIs with a focus on Operations. • Design and implement DevSecOps capabilities (e.g. observability, continuous monitoring, tractability). • Work with the development teams in resolving software and other related problems associated with the cloud deployment infrastructure and the code deployed onto platforms such as Database and/or Middleware. • Manage day-to-day deployment and maintenance activities. • Analyze and tune information systems performances. • Security administration and monitoring, in adherence to the security rules.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree in IT or related field and at least 11 years of experience in IT.
- Excellent knowledge of JEE (development and architecture of java web-based applications, application servers, JEE security, XML, JMS and web services technology etc.)
- Excellent knowledge of Oracle RDBMS.
- Excellent knowledge of administration of Weblogic middleware solutions (Application servers, OSB).
- Excellent knowledge in development of the toolset for Release Orchestration and Continuous Deployment pipelines.
- Good knowledge of container technologies e.g.: Docker, Kubernetes.
- Good knowledge in scripting languages for cloud infrastructure automation.
- Good knowledge of Cloud infrastructure setups from vendors such as Amazon or Azure.
- Excellent knowledge of Middleware systems.
- Excellent knowledge of messaging services and platforms.
- Excellent knowledge of Linux.
- Fluent in English at least at a level C1.

• Participate in the On-Call rotation, as a member of the Cloud Managed Services team, and respond to incidents that impact Neo4j cloud infrastructure availability to provide the necessary support for customer cases. • Work as a member of the Cloud Managed Services Team during business hours, with occasional off-hours scheduled work, to support and manage the Neo4j database infrastructure of the customers and handle and resolve escalations related to cloud hosted environments from customers and/or internal teams. • Improve, document, and automate operational processes (such as deployments and upgrades) to make them as efficient as possible. • Gather and analyze metrics from operating systems as well as Neo4j databases to assist in performance tuning and incident diagnostics. • Document the incidents, procedures, and outcomes of customer communications. Assist in building the Cloud Managed Services knowledge base. • Install and upgrade Neo4j infrastructure (servers, storage, databases) for our Cloud Managed Service customers. • Troubleshoot cluster issues across multiple servers, data centers and regions, in a variety of clouds (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), virtual, and bare metal environments. • Collaborate and communicate effectively within Customers, Customer Success, Product Engineering, and other Neo4j teams to understand and resolve customer issues completely and expediently. • Proactive approach to identifying problems, performance bottlenecks, and areas for improvement is necessary to succeed in this position.
