• Write cold email sequences across SaaS, FinTech, HRTech, M&A, DevTools, and more • Develop angles, hooks, and positioning that actually cut through inbox noise • Work closely with GTM specialists to align copy with targeting and offer • Run structured A/B tests (subject lines, CTAs, tone, structure) • Iterate based on data - not opinions • Use Clay for personalization logic and workflow support • Improve and build AI workflows that speed up research, ideation, and testing • Lead and mentor our copy team (currently 2 writers)
Job Requirements
- 2+ years writing cold email (mandatory - not general copywriting)
- You understand outbound metrics: reply rate, positive rate, meeting rate, pipeline
- You use AI tools daily and know how to push them properly
- You’ve done prompt engineering and know how to refine outputs
- You’re comfortable with Clay (or similar outbound automation tools)
- Strong, natural English writing
- You’ve managed people before - and can give feedback clearly
- Bonus If You Have built workflows in n8n / Make / Zapier
- Previously worked as a GTM Engineer or outbound specialist
- Know tools like Apollo, Instantly, Smartlead, RB2B, BuiltWith
- Think in systems, not just sentences
