Senior Mechanical Engineer, Senior Project Manager

• The Senior Mechanical Engineer (SME) Senior Project Manager (SPM) shall contribute and support leadership of HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Process, and Utility Engineering in addition to Project Management efforts of cross-discipline Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection (MEP/FP) projects for the firm. • The SME SPM shall be a graduated engineer from an ABET-accredited institution who shall directly contribute to the Firm and its success through engineering, design, technical leadership, and project management efforts. • The SME SPM is also responsible for contributing to the growth of the team by leading and mentoring subordinate staff in expanding their capabilities and contributions. • The SME SPM shall execute design duties as required to ensure quality products. • The SME SPM shall be a Mechanical Engineer registered as a Professional Engineer (PE) at a minimum. • Additional credentials are encouraged and desired.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years experience (post-degree) working for an MEP Engineering Firm or an AE Firm
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering
- Professional Engineering (PE) License
- Current/Active NCEES registration in good standing
- Previous experience in managing workflow for MEP/FP designers and engineers in the Healthcare or Science/Technology fields
- Operational Experience in REVIT
- Operational experience with Microsoft Projects desired but not required
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
