• Design and iterate the imaging solution that makes inspection reliable • Own customer deployments end-to-end: planning, on-site execution, training, follow-through • Drive fast iteration cycles: image capture → lighting/lens adjustments → validation → production-ready setup • Train customer teams on daily operation, basic troubleshooting, re-validation after maintenance, keeping image quality stable • Maintain a strong working knowledge of the machine vision ecosystem and competitor offerings • Participate in pre-sales technical discovery and solutioning to help position Overview.ai intelligently
Job Requirements
- Deep, hands-on machine vision experience with a heavy emphasis on lighting + optics (not just “camera setup”)
- Track record solving difficult inspections in production environments (reflective/transparent, tight geometry, high speed, variable presentation)
- Strong practical knowledge of the lighting and lens landscape: You understand the tradeoffs and failure modes, not just the catalog names
- Ability to operate independently in factories and own outcomes
- Mandarin fluency (native or near-native)
- Working English for collaboration with global engineering/product teams
- Strong communication skills: you can explain optical strategies clearly to customers and teammates

Role Description The Storage Engineer, Senior provides technical leadership for enterprise storage platforms that support databases, virtual infrastructures, and other mission-critical workloads across data centers and cloud environments. This role architects scalable SAN, NAS, and object storage solutions and ensures performance, resiliency, and data protection meet organizational requirements. The engineer leads complex storage changes, migrations, and optimization efforts, coordinating closely with server, virtualization, and backup teams. Key Responsibilities - Design and administer large-scale SAN and NAS infrastructures, including zoning, LUN provisioning, and multipathing for high-availability workloads. - Perform detailed capacity planning, performance analysis, and storage tiering strategies that balance cost, latency, and resiliency. - Integrate storage platforms with virtualization, backup, and replication technologies to support disaster recovery and business continuity objectives. - Lead complex migrations, technology refreshes, and re-architecture initiatives using detailed runbooks, validation steps, and rollback options. - Implement and enforce storage security practices such as encryption, access controls, and data retention policies aligned to regulatory standards. - Mentor junior storage engineers, contribute to storage standards and reference architectures, and act as a high-level escalation point for severe storage incidents. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience. - Typically 8+ years of experience in storage engineering or IT infrastructure roles. - Strong expertise with SAN, NAS, and related tools (for example, NetApp, EMC, cloud storage platforms). - Demonstrated experience in root cause analysis, corrective action planning, and disaster recovery for storage environments. - Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and organizational skills. - Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required. • Perform onsite assessments of client facilities throughout North America to identify energy saving opportunities • Analyze existing building systems and collect data on building operation, HVAC, electrical, lighting, controls, and operations to determine energy usage and efficiency • Establish priorities for building renovations • Assess feasibility and help plan implementation of efficiency solutions • Attend project meetings with owners, designers, property managers, and contractors • Establish and maintain on-site contact with building facilities personnel • Provide expert judgment and analyses for conceptual engineering design in order to ensure owner's requirements are fully documented, optimize first cost, and improve energy and water efficiency • Review and verify others' energy savings calculations and guide other staff in the best practices for various energy savings technologies, including lighting, HVAC, fans, pumps, air compression, and industrial process use • Assess or propose commercial-scale renewable energy and CHP systems, supply-side energy procurement strategies, and demand-response technologies • Plan and deliver presentations at meetings and training events for trade allies and customers, clients, and others • Lead and direct the work of consulting external engineers and equipment suppliers • Write control sequences for building management systems • Perform travel-planning as necessary to complete site visits and attend conferences • Perform other duties as assigned
