Role Overview The Operations Manager oversees and optimizes core business operations to ensure efficiency, scalability, and execution excellence. This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on leadership across processes, systems, data, and people. You will act as the operational backbone of the organization—building structure, improving workflows, and enabling teams to perform at a high level. This role is ideal for operators who enjoy owning outcomes, solving complex problems, and driving execution across multiple priorities. Core Responsibilities Operations Strategy & Execution — 30% - Lead day-to-day operational execution across teams and workflows - Translate business objectives into clear operational plans - Identify gaps, risks, and inefficiencies across operations - Drive continuous improvement initiatives Process Optimization & Systems — 25% - Design, document, and optimize operational processes and SOPs - Implement automation to reduce manual work and errors - Improve cross-functional workflows and handoffs - Maintain operational documentation for scale Data, Reporting & Insights — 20% - Track operational KPIs and performance metrics - Build and maintain dashboards and reports - Analyze trends to support data-driven decision-making - Communicate insights clearly to leadership Team & Resource Management — 15% - Oversee capacity planning, scheduling, and workload distribution - Support onboarding, training, and performance management - Ensure accountability and operational consistency - Foster strong execution habits in remote environments Project & Initiative Management — 10% - Lead cross-functional initiatives and operational projects - Manage timelines, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations - Escalate risks and blockers proactively - Ensure on-time and high-quality delivery

Job Requirements

  • Must-Haves (Required)
  • 1–3+ years of experience in operations, project management, or operational leadership roles
  • Strong ability to build and improve operational processes
  • Data-driven mindset with experience using metrics to guide decisions
  • Experience managing multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • High ownership, accountability, and attention to detail
  • Comfort working independently in a fully remote environment
  • Nice-to-Haves (Preferred)
  • Experience scaling operations in fast-paced or startup environments
  • Exposure to automation, systems integration, or process design
  • Background managing distributed or contractor teams
  • Experience supporting leadership or executive initiatives
