ENERGY SYSTEMS GROUP is looking for an Energy Engineer to join our Corporate Measurement and Verification Team. The position will be hybrid with regular travel (up to 75%) to the DC/VA metro area including overnight stays dependent on project(s) location. The Energy Engineer is responsible for the development of energy baselines, verifying energy saving and annual M&V reporting. The Energy Engineer will be knowledgeable in application of energy saving strategies, statistical analysis, and have prior experience working in vertical markets (Federal Government, State and Local Government, Healthcare, K-12 and Higher Education). The position requires strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities to address best practices in baseline development as well as performance period energy consumption evaluation. Proactively reviews and/or interprets problems or patterns related to utility bills and energy consumption to limit risk and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Owns and manages tools & processes that ensure timely collection and accurate data entry of utility bills or other monitored consumption sources for M&V portfolios. Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical customers both internal and external. Understanding of Federal Energy Management Program (FEMP) and International Performance Measurement and Verification Protocol (IPMVP) concept and guiding principles. Lead/support development of customer baselines or benchmarks as needed. Responsible for the creation of high quality / high value performance reports that convey added value and analysis of cost reduction to contract specifications and/or guarantees (Options A, B, C, D and Non-Measured Savings) to the client.

• Review telemetry and hunting leads from various sources and determine whether they are benign or warrant further investigation. • Propose new countermeasures or updates to detect advanced threats and reduce signal-to-noise ratio. • Conduct threat hunts across the MDR Elite customer base using a variety of tools and methodologies. • Communicate and document findings to various customer audiences including technical and executive teams. • Actively research emerging Indicators of Compromise/Attack, threat actor TTPs, exploits and vulnerabilities. • Assume ownership in problem resolution striving for customer satisfaction. • Proactively work to document and minimize operational and client impacting issues that arise during day-to-day operations. Develop innovative and creative recommendations that improve customer outcomes. • Provide mentorship to junior teammates, guiding their career development. • Actively contribute to internal projects per assignments received from the manager in alignment with own knowledge, skills, and workload.
