Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Identifying, quantifying, capturing and/or modeling new business opportunities Gathering, analyzing, and evaluating information on internal operations, customers, competitors, and market factors Advancing and implementing new tools for customer account management, winning business, and repair center optimization Refining data utilization (capture, cleaning, organization, and modeling)

Job Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in, or recently a post grad (with good academic standing) for a Bachelor or Master degree in Analytics, Business, Mathematics (or other related fields), or a degree with an Analytics or Business minor/concentration
  • Experience using data visualization software such as PowerBI, Tableau or Looker
  • Experience with data preparation and cleaning tools such as Alteryx or Tableau Prep
  • Proficiency in SQL and MS Office suite (MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Experience using Python
  • Comfortable with complex data relationships (ERD)
  • Knowledge/Experience with machine learning, time series analysis, and deep learning frameworks
  • Effective prompt engineering skills to leverage AI when necessary
  • Prior experience in the aerospace industry

ENERGY SYSTEMS GROUP is looking for an Energy Engineer to join our Corporate Measurement and Verification Team. The position will be hybrid with regular travel (up to 75%) to the DC/VA metro area including overnight stays dependent on project(s) location. The Energy Engineer is responsible for the development of energy baselines, verifying energy saving and annual M&V reporting. The Energy Engineer will be knowledgeable in application of energy saving strategies, statistical analysis, and have prior experience working in vertical markets (Federal Government, State and Local Government, Healthcare, K-12 and Higher Education). The position requires strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities to address best practices in baseline development as well as performance period energy consumption evaluation. Proactively reviews and/or interprets problems or patterns related to utility bills and energy consumption to limit risk and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Owns and manages tools & processes that ensure timely collection and accurate data entry of utility bills or other monitored consumption sources for M&V portfolios. Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical customers both internal and external. Understanding of Federal Energy Management Program (FEMP) and International Performance Measurement and Verification Protocol (IPMVP) concept and guiding principles. Lead/support development of customer baselines or benchmarks as needed. Responsible for the creation of high quality / high value performance reports that convey added value and analysis of cost reduction to contract specifications and/or guarantees (Options A, B, C, D and Non-Measured Savings) to the client.

People Management & Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of Credentialing Specialists and Operational Analysts to ensure timely and accurate credentialing file processing. Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to team members to strengthen credentialing knowledge and regulatory understanding. Oversee credentialing workflows to ensure compliance with NCQA guidelines, state regulatory requirements, and client-specific policies. Facilitate company performance reviews, and partner with Operations Management to determine performance ratings for the OAs on your team and deliver performance review conversations directly to your team members. You will host a daily standup with your team as needed to review the previous day’s performance and align on priorities for the day ahead. Additionally, you will lead a weekly performance review to recap results from the prior week and identify opportunities for improvement. Other focus areas will include supporting the onboarding of new hires, providing education and guidance to team members during training, and eventually participating in the hiring process for new OAs joining your team. Regularly review your team’s performance data on a daily and weekly basis, and communicate insights upward to management, downward to your team, and laterally to your peers to ensure alignment and accountability across all levels. Production Management: This role is responsible for meeting core performance metrics for the subset of clients supported by your pod. These metrics focus on the speed, quality, and efficiency of file processing. You will be expected to continuously identify and drive improvements in each of these areas as volumes scale.
