Business Development Manager – Localization Solutions
Alpha
• Understand complex client technical requirements and architect Alpha CRC's localization technology solutions to meet their specific business and technical objectives • Manage all aspects of the technical sales process, from technical discovery and solution design to proposal development, technical presentations, and deal closure • Stay at the forefront of localization technology trends to provide cutting-edge insights to clients • Work closely with internal technical teams, project managers, and engineering experts to ensure seamless solution delivery and technical implementation success • Act as a trusted technical advisor to clients, identifying their localization technology pain points and architecting tailored solutions that drive efficiency and scalability • Report to CCO on technical sales activities, solution pipeline progress, and revenue targets using CRM tool (Pipedrive) and technical metrics (MEDDPICC)
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in technical sales or solutions architecture, with a focus on selling complex technology solutions and services
- Demonstrated success in managing technical sales cycles from discovery to implementation
- Strong understanding of localization technologies, translation management systems, or related enterprise software
- Confident technical communicator, capable of engaging with CTOs, IT directors, and technical decision-makers
- Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to translate technical requirements into business solutions
- Proficiency in solution architecture and technical documentation
- Proficient in leveraging LinkedIn and other digital tools for technical lead generation and relationship building
- Experience with technical demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and solution presentations
- Familiarity with the IT/technology/DXT sectors and localization technology landscape
- Understanding of enterprise software integration, APIs, and technical implementation processes
- A self-starter with a proactive, results-oriented, and technically curious mindset
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage complex technical sales cycles

This will be a full-time position without a set office location; however, candidates must be located within driving distance of the Washington, DC metropolitan area to attend frequent (at least weekly) on-site client and team meetings.
