• Draft Clean Air permits, including minor source, Title V, PSD, and major nonattainment permits • Ensure drafted permits comply with SIP-approved rules, EPA regulations and policies, and applicable statutes • Review proposed permits from State and local agencies for conformity with regulations and policy, including applicability determinations, potential to emit, monitoring requirements, and control technologies • Draft and review control technology determinations, including BACT and LAER analyses • Review draft regulations to ensure conformance with EPA requirements • Research alternative approaches to compliance with EPA regulations based on similar State rules • Mentor and provide guidance to less experienced staff • Manage multiple projects and small project teams simultaneously • Collaborate and communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders • Prepare clear, thorough technical documents and reports

• Direct medium to large scale complex projects to ensure internal and external expectations are met for scope, budget, schedule and quality • Review and interpret technical engineering documentation, including but not limited to: offsite consequence analyses (OCAs), process safety information; process hazard analyses (PHAs); operating procedures; training records; mechanical integrity programmatic records; management of change (MOC) and pre-startup safety review (PSSR) packages; compliance audits; incident investigations; employee participation plans; hot work permits; contractor management plans; and emergency response programs and procedures • Lead and support on-site compliance evaluations and inspections • Engage comfortable with personnel at facilities in the following industry types: petroleum refineries, chemicals manufacturing facilities, anhydrous ammonia refrigeration facilities, flammable storage facilities, natural gas processing plants, and chemical storage warehouses • Manage and train junior and mid-level staff to facilitate growth • Collaborate and communicate effectively with multiple clients and internal stakeholders regarding project progress and budget status • Occasional travel to investigation sites (up to 25%)

• Provide technical support for ERG water-related projects • Assist with research, data collection, analysis, and engagement related to drinking water and water quality management, regulations, and related topics • Support preparation of products for technical and non-technical audiences, and other project deliverables • Support environmental planning reviews for proposed infrastructure projects, including Environmental Assessments (EAs) and Categorical Exclusion (CATEX) reviews pursuant to the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) • Contribute to regulatory compliance, technical assistance, and other efforts • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams of scientists, engineers, policy analysts, communications experts, and other colleagues to support client objectives • Assist with project coordination and administrative tasks and with proposal and business development activities as needed

• Provide administrative support to executive leadership, including calendar management, meeting coordination, note-taking, and travel arrangements • Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external communications on behalf of executives • Prepare, review, and edit correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents • Coordinate and manage meetings, including scheduling, agenda development, materials preparation, and note-taking • Track action items and follow-up to ensure timely completion of deliverables • Support project coordination and assist with special initiatives as needed • Maintain organized records, files, and confidential information with discretion • Assist with expense reporting, budgeting support, and procurement processes • Facilitate communication and collaboration across departments and project teams • Be willing to sign NDA

• Administer federal, state, and/or local contracts across the full lifecycle, including proposal preparation, negotiation, administration, and closeout • Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams (technical, business development, subcontracts, and accounting) to deliver comprehensive contract support • Ensure compliance with contract terms and regulatory requirements • Partner with technical and business leads to drive compliant, competitive proposals • Directly prepare, analyze, and negotiate cost and pricing proposals, including profitability analyses and risk assessments • Implement and uphold procurement policies, procedures, and best practices • Support contract closeout activities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely resolution of outstanding items

• Manage the full lifecycle of subcontracts, including solicitation, negotiation, award, administration, and closeout • Review and evaluate subcontractor proposals, ensuring completeness, compliance, and proper documentation and approvals • Support proposal efforts by negotiating teaming agreements and non-disclosure agreements, and coordinating subcontractor inputs with technical, contracts, and proposal teams • Conduct research and compile subcontract- and contract-related data in support of audits and other government reporting requirements • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures, as well as applicable regulations, throughout the subcontract lifecycle

• Review workplace injury, illness, and fatality records and apply standardized case‑classification codes using the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) Occupational Injury and Illness Classification System (OIICS). • Exercise thoughtful, independent judgment to accurately classify complex or ambiguous cases while maintaining speed and consistency. • Draft brief, clear incident narratives that summarize the circumstances of each case in plain, concise language. • Manage multiple work queues and deadlines while maintaining high quality and attention to detail. • Collaborate regularly with team members and senior analysts for guidance, quality checks, and knowledge sharing. • Contribute to documentation, process improvements, and evolving analytical practices over time.

• Providing technical assistance to small, underserved water and wastewater utilities across the country to access funding and design, build, and maintain sustainable, resilient water infrastructure systems and provide clean water to their communities • Assessing and promoting innovative water and wastewater treatment technologies and developing resources to reduce barriers to adoption • Evaluating the design, costs, and environmental impacts of potential water and wastewater infrastructure projects • Preparing preliminary engineering reports. • Conducting sampling and survey programs, performing advanced data analysis of environmental sampling results, and developing concise data analysis reports • Developing methods to control discharges of PFAS and other emerging contaminants that impact human health and the environment

• Develop enterprise-scale software applications, working as part of a multidisciplinary development team, to support the implementation of federal policies and regulations that protect human health and the environment • Implement system enhancements based on requirements provided by subject matter experts • Migrate legacy applications to modern technology stacks and cloud-based environments • Assess and advise on technology options for application components • Assist in integrating applications with agency shared services that provide functionality such as authentication and data exchange • Complete assigned tasks within an agile development framework, support development sprints, and use tools such as Jira and Confluence to track progress and maintain technical documentation • Adhere to rigorous security best practices, maintain high coding standards, and follow meticulous deployment procedures • Participate in agile/scrum team ceremonies and status meetings with clients

• This position involves providing research support on research projects for the U.S. EPA, states, and nonprofit organizations • This will require reviews of Superfund site documents, mathematical modeling, and report writing and editing. In addition, the position involves frequent collaborative work with employees from related disciplines • Data analysis and interpretation of scientific results will be required for some projects
