Regional Account Manager – Région Sud

• Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with Fortinet’s sales objectives across the Région Sud. • Identify and grow high-value opportunities within the region, particularly across private-sector and regional key accounts. • Build trusted, long-term relationships with executive stakeholders and decision-makers. • Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles focused on high-value, technologically advanced solutions. • Present Fortinet’s integrated cybersecurity portfolio in ways that resonate with customer priorities and challenges. • Collaborate closely with internal Systems Engineering and Channel teams to ensure effective solution design, partner alignment, and customer success. • Work with key regional partners to co-develop business opportunities and drive joint value. • Guide the preparation of proposals, RFP responses, and strategic customer presentations. • Maintain a strong presence with customers and partners through regular travel across the region. • Contribute to the development of a structured territory plan that supports sustainable growth.

Job Requirements

  • Experience in technology sales, ideally in cybersecurity, networking, or enterprise IT.
  • Strong knowledge of the South of France market, with established connections in private-sector and regional key accounts.
  • Proven success in managing complex sales engagements, including multi-level stakeholder involvement and long sales cycles.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic account and territory plans with clear, measurable goals.
  • Skilled in solution-based selling, with the ability to articulate and deliver high-value technology propositions.
  • Experience working collaboratively with technical teams and partners to tailor and implement solutions.
  • Familiarity with at least one of the following areas: Firewall/VPN technologies; Antivirus (AV) solutions; Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IDP).
  • Comfortable carrying a quota and consistently developing pipeline and closing business within a defined region.
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • A collaborative, inclusive, and goal-oriented mindset.
  • Willingness to travel regularly within the region.
  • Preferred: Based in Lyon.
