Manager, Benefits Configuration
Pharmacy Data Management, Inc. (PDMI)
• Lead the hiring, coaching, and ongoing development of Benefits Configuration team members to build and sustain a high-performing team aligned with departmental goals. • Assess employees’ skills, performance, and productivity; create development plans to strengthen capabilities and engagement. • Assign duties and manage team workload with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to established policies and procedures. • Implement, maintain, and reinforce policies and procedures governing the Benefits Configuration team. • Establish, monitor, and communicate benchmarks for team performance through defined key performance indicators (KPIs). • Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and accuracy in configuration delivery. • Ensure accountability by evaluating performance outcomes, providing feedback, and reinforcing expectations. • Collaborate closely with the Training & Operations Manager to align training initiatives with performance expectations and ensure consistent team development. • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to resolve operational issues, streamline workflows, and improve communication between teams. • Participate in client onboarding and meetings as needed to represent the Benefits Configuration team’s capabilities and deliverables.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred with 5+ years of related experience, including benefits configuration and claims adjudication.
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, system logic documentation, and data analysis.
- Strong skills in monitoring KPIs and driving continuous improvement.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and listening skills to effectively engage all levels of an organization.
- Ability to interpret client data and requests, delivering tailored solutions.
