Job Description

Data Analyst – Focus on Data Migration and Automation

Impower GmbH

• ERP analysis & data mapping: You analyze the data structures of common ERP systems on the German market. You understand how customer data is structured in legacy systems and develop logic to transform it into our target model. • Data preparation & migration: You ingest customer data (exports, databases), prepare and clean it ("Data Cleaning") and validate the results. Your goal: a flawless go-live for the customer. • Customer interface: You review the prepared data together with customers, identify necessary corrections and finalize the import. You can explain technical details clearly to non-technical contacts. • From process to automation: You are motivated to eliminate manual steps. You recognize patterns in migrations and help the team develop automated pipelines, scripts, or import assistants to accelerate onboarding step by step. • Quality assurance: You perform logical and content comparisons to ensure migrated data is 100% consistent.

Job Requirements

  • Data expertise: You have practical experience in data preparation and manipulation (e.g., with SQL, Excel/Power Query or scripting languages like Python) and are very data-savvy with Google Sheets/Excel.
  • Analytical mindset: You enjoy diving deep into spreadsheets, finding discrepancies and proposing solutions for complex mapping problems.
  • Language skills (technical and interpersonal): Since you analyze German ERP systems and speak directly with customers, fluent German (C1/C2) is required. Team communication takes place in German and English.
  • Customer focus & empathy: You can put yourself in the shoes of an administrator who is not an IT expert and guide them confidently through the data process.
  • Precision: You work extremely carefully (detail-oriented) while keeping schedule and goals in mind through project experience.
  • Growth mindset: You are keen to develop from manual data processing toward automated ETL processes.

Benefits

  • Flexibility: Work hybrid from our office in Munich or remotely anywhere in Germany
  • Technology that’s fun to use: A modern product, flat hierarchies and a team that truly wants to make an impact.
  • Hardware: Modern equipment and freedom to choose your tools.
