Sales Director
Opennetworks (Pty) Ltd
• Lead Generation & Prospecting • Identify and research self-funded employers in the DFW market through various channels including databases, networking events, and referrals • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects • Execute cold calling, email campaigns, and LinkedIn outreach to generate new opportunities • Attend local industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to build market presence • Sales Activities & Account Development • Conduct initial discovery calls to understand employer benefits challenges and objectives • Schedule and facilitate product demonstrations and presentations for HR leaders and C-suite executives • Develop customized proposals and pricing solutions for self-funded employers • Manage the sales process from initial contact through contract execution • Identify and coordinate with self-insured employers’ key partners including TPAs, brokers, consultants, underwriters, etc. • Coordinate with internal OpenNetworks teams including product management, implementation, and customer success • Achieve sales targets including membership goals and revenue generation • Relationship Management • Build and maintain strong relationships with HR directors, benefits managers, and executive decision-makers • Serve as primary point of contact for assigned prospects and clients during the sales cycle • Provide ongoing support and consultation to ensure client satisfaction and identify expansion opportunities • Collaborate with existing channel partners when appropriate to maximize sales opportunities • Market Intelligence & Reporting • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and prospect interactions in CRM system • Track and report on key metrics including calls made, meetings scheduled, proposals submitted, and revenue generated • Provide feedback to management on market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs • Participate in regular sales meetings and pipeline reviews with Sales Leader
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in benefits, insurance, or related industries
- Understanding of self-funded employer market and stop-loss insurance concepts
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to travel within DFW area (up to 85%)
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Start-up or high-growth experience
- Passion for healthcare innovation and transformation
