• Set the technical and organizational vision for the CRM platform, with a strong focus on scalability, automation, and data integrity. • Manage, mentor, and grow a diverse team of engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and ownership. • Lead the design and delivery of major CRM initiatives, including pricing evolution, internationalization (notably Germany), and multi-product enablement. • Ensure best-in-class integrations between Salesforce and Pennylane’s core systems, participate in data governance efforts, and drive continuous improvements in data quality and operational processes. • Serve as a strategic partner to business teams, translating complex business requirements into actionable technical solutions with measurable outcomes. • Champion engineering best practices — including CI/CD, observability, and documentation — while maintaining a strong focus on business impact and stakeholder satisfaction.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience leading CRM or Salesforce engineering teams in a high-growth SaaS or product company.
- Deep technical expertise in Salesforce architecture, integrations, and data management, along with strong software engineering best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to drive complex cross-team initiatives and deliver measurable business value in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment with competing priorities.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and tight timelines, with a calm, structured approach to managing competing demands from diverse stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, able to translate business needs into technical solutions and vice versa.

Role Description We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Technical Lead to serve as a hands-on, customer-facing expert supporting a live Salesforce-based platform used by public sector agencies. The ideal candidate is highly technical, comfortable working directly with customers, and able to troubleshoot and resolve issues in real time. This is not a passive development role — this is a frontline technical leader who can diagnose, explain, and fix issues live.
