Senior Software Engineer, .NET – E-commerce

• Work on bug fixes, improvements and new projects from a prioritized backlog, always taking care not to impact the purchase flow; • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs with a focus on performance and best practices; • Contribute to the evolution of solutions with attention to clean architecture and design patterns; • Work with relational and non-relational databases; • Write unit tests and collaborate on test automation; • Participate in technical discussions and collaborate on defining scalable solutions; • Work in multidisciplinary teams within an agile environment; • Support the deployment and monitoring of applications in the cloud; • Integrate systems and services using Kafka for asynchronous communication; • Follow the activity lifecycle from analysis and fixes through to production release; • Ensure product quality, paying attention to the development pipeline, staging and production environments; • Commit to your responsibilities and respect planning timelines; • Design, develop and maintain critical applications; • Participate in architectural definition, proposing technical improvements and new approaches aligned with the company strategy; • Support the squad in investigating and resolving production incidents (troubleshooting) and during stress-test windows.
Job Requirements
- Solid experience developing with C# .NET (8.0 or higher);
- Experience in project and technical leadership/direction;
- Experience with automated testing;
- Experience with observability tools: Dynatrace, Grafana;
- Experience with MVC, SOLID, design patterns, REST APIs, dependency injection and related concepts;
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines;
- Experience with BFF integrations;
- Experience with MongoDB, SQL Server, CosmosDB, PostgreSQL;
- Knowledge of software architecture;
- Strong knowledge of IOC, DIP from SOLID, service locator patterns, ORMs, micro-ORM (Dapper) and raw ADO.NET;
- Knowledge of Azure environment;
- Nice to have (differentials):
- Experience with DDD and data-driven approaches;
- API performance analysis (Application Insights, API monitoring, database profilers, API gateway);
- Knowledge or experience in e-commerce/retail.
