Role Description We’re looking for a skilled JavaScript/TypeScript Engineer to join Brandwatch’s Listen team. You’ll help build and evolve a data-rich, customizable web application embedded within our partners’ platforms, enabling “light social listening” capabilities. This product allows partners to understand, explore, and engage with their customers across social media through actionable digital consumer insights. You’ll work within a cross-functional, autonomous team, collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality features end-to-end. • Oversee end-to-end integration initiatives, including Epic-related interfaces. • Serve as the Epic Interface Analyst, managing the development, configuration, and support of interfaces using Epic Bridges. • Design, develop, and maintain APIs and microservices for communication between internal and external systems. • Manage HL7 and FHIR API integrations in Epic. • Work closely with external vendors and partners to manage integrations with Epic and other systems. • Identify and resolve integration and interface issues. • Maintain thorough documentation for all integration processes.

• Develop, deploy, and monitor microservices and serverless components in AWS. • Build and improve automation tooling including GitHub Actions, Argo CD, and Grafana dashboards. • Tackle high-performance engineering challenges to deliver container images and metadata efficiently and securely. • Design and enforce security and compliance policies across delivery pipelines. • Collectively own the security posture and developer experience of secure container images. • Take part in on-call rotation for your team; respond to incidents, debug production issues, and drive continuous improvement of system reliability.

• Define technical solutions, technology stacks, and frameworks aligned with product requirements. • Ensure that technical decisions consider performance, security, scalability, and architectural sustainability. • Assess technical feasibility of requests before development begins. • Ensure current decisions do not generate excessive technical debt in the long term. • Establish and oversee development standards (Clean Code, SOLID, and engineering best practices). • Actively participate in code reviews and pull requests, ensuring adherence to the defined architecture. • Identify technical risks and propose mitigation strategies. • Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and delivery quality. • Act as the technical mentor for the development team. • Support junior, mid-level, and senior developers in resolving technical challenges. • Promote best practices and the technical growth of the team. • Foster team autonomy and professional growth. • Translate business needs into clear technical requirements for the engineering team. • Serve as the technical interlocutor in meetings with stakeholders and product teams. • Facilitate communication between technology and the business, removing impediments for the team.
