• Partner with Sales to understand customer goals and technical requirements, translating them into tailored solutions. • Design and present solution architectures, demos, and proof-of-concepts. • Support RFPs, RFIs, and technical evaluations with accurate responses. • Act as a technical advisor during the sales cycle, guiding deal strategy and building customer confidence. • Lead customers through onboarding, integration, and implementation. • Provide ongoing technical guidance, troubleshooting, and best practices. • Capture and relay customer feedback to influence product roadmap and improvements.

Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in a Pre-Sales or Post-Sales role and/or relevant technical role (i.e. Technical Account Manager).
  • Retail media experience is highly preferred and/or programmatic advertising, digital advertising, e-commerce ecosystems and/or AdTech ecosystem fundamentals.
  • Highly passionate and curious self-starter with a desire to work in a fast-paced start-up.
  • Experience working with REST APIs and a highly technical product.
  • Exceptional communication and project management skills.
  • Previous coding experience in some form. Able to write JSON and understand basic code.

We are seeking a Solutions Engineer with a specialized focus on API Management (APIM). In this role, you will serve as a technical advisor during the sales cycle, demonstrating how Boomi’s API Lifecycle management transforms internal integration into secure, scalable, and governed digital services. While connectivity is a fundamental component of the platform, your objective is to showcase how Boomi provides the governance and security required to scale a modern enterprise. What You'll Do - Technical Validation & Demonstration: Execute high-impact technical demonstrations that illustrate the full API lifecycle, including design, deployment, and management via the Developer Portal. - Proof of Concept (PoC) Leadership: Lead the technical validation phase for API-centric opportunities, proving Boomi’s capacity for high-performance traffic management, rate limiting, and complex security orchestration. - Architecture Alignment: Demonstrate the synergy between Boomi’s iPaaS backbone and its API Management layer, ensuring back-end services are optimized for front-end consumption. - Security & Policy Orchestration: Configure and demonstrate robust security protocols (OAuth, JWT, API Keys) to validate Boomi’s ability to protect enterprise data assets. - Collaborative Sales Support: Partner with Senior Solutions Engineers and Account Executives to provide technical depth during discovery, RFI/RFP responses, and complex architectural reviews. - Market Insight: Maintain a deep understanding of API governance trends and security standards to position Boomi effectively against legacy middleware solutions. The Experience You Bring - API Lifecycle Expertise: Practical knowledge of API Lifecycle Management, including OpenAPI/Swagger documentation, versioning, and retirement strategies. - Enterprise Security Standards: Proficiency in modern security frameworks (OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, TLS) and their application in governed environments. - Foundational Integration Skills: Experience with iPaaS platforms, REST/SOAP web services, and enterprise messaging protocols. - Analytical Problem Solving: A structured approach to troubleshooting and optimizing API performance and mediation logic. - Technical Communication: Ability to translate complex architectural concepts into clear business value for both technical stakeholders and business evaluators.
