Sr. Solutions Specialist: Job Duties: Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in one or more Database and Application Technologies (Oracle, SQL, DB2, SAP, for example), providing on-site and remote pre-sales guidance and support during sales campaigns and meetings with customers. Identify (based upon interviews/consultations, system analysis and discovery, troubleshooting, system design, and problem-solving methodologies) the scope, requirements, and needs of customers, and develop and document highly available and sustainable service architectures that meet those needs. Requirements: Bachelor's or equivalent in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Engineering (any field), or a related field, and 2 years of experience in at least 2 of the following IT disciplines: technical architecture, network management, application development, cloud technologies, middleware, database management, or operations. Role Description GE Vernova Electrification – Grid Software works with Electric Transmission, Distribution, Wholesale Energy Markets, Gas, Water and Telecommunication businesses to deliver mission critical industrial software for managing the grid and accurate geospatial network models.
