Regional Sales Manager – Beltway Territory
Belden Inc.
• Maintain and grow sales within the designated broadband territory by providing sales and service support to both new and existing telecommunications accounts. • Maintain effective customer relationships through timely, professional, courteous, and accurate responses. • Provide technical training and support to customers as needed. • Develop and sustain long-term customer relationships through proactive engagement and support activities. • Represent Belden at trade events within the assigned territory, including trade shows, conferences, and meetings. • Provide Sales Leadership with timely information related to product quality issues, training needs, customer concerns, competitive insights, budget variances, new prospects, and progress toward territory goals. • Manage rep firms within the territory as appropriate.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (highly preferred)
- three (3) or more years of field sales experience
- preferably in telecommunications, fiber, and/or optical product sales
- additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Must be able to travel up to 50% overnight (Monday–Friday is typical)
