Bank Reconciliation Associate Conduent Business Services – Remote US Hourly Rate - $19 – 25 Hours M-F 8 hours between 7 AM CST - 5 PM CST Remote work: Enjoy the convenience of working from home and maximize your time by unplugging at the end of your workday. And the following areas: Washington DC. and Minneapolis, MN **Must be able to pass pre-employment background screening which will include criminal, credit check and fingerprinting Job Overview: The person in this role will support the accounting functions for our external clients including being accountable for the balancing and settling of all client benefits/funds entering and exiting the system Job Responsibilities: - Reconcile and analyze internal system reports to perform bank reconcilements in Excel - Familiar with and able to read bank statements and reconcile them to internal/external systems - Utilize Mastercard Connect and Visa (VROL) platforms as necessary - Report any irregularities to management - Confirm all tasks are completed within the restricted time allocations daily - Ensures accuracy and completeness of data - As this is a remote position you must have high speed internet connection and a private office or room to be able to perform your work as you will have access to sensitive data - communicate effectively in English both via email and orally - All other duties as assigned Essential Skills/Knowledge/Certification: - Minimum of 5+ years reconciliation experience - Must have a High School Diploma, or GED, Bachelor’s (Preferred) - Experience in payment services / Prepaid Cards / Banking / ACH files is highly desirable - General accounting knowledge and expertise - Strong analytical skills - Strong reconciliation background - Computer literate. Must have strong Excel skills - Work well in a team-oriented environment - Detail-oriented approach to work, assignments, etc. - Familiar with Microsoft Outlook and TEAMs People who succeed in this role have:  - Strong commitment and work ethic. - Outstanding Attendance. - Effective and accurate written and verbal communication skills. - Effective problem-solving skills. - Can navigate multiple applications and research solutions with ease - General accounting knowledge and expertise - Intermediate skills using Microsoft Outlook, Excel - Have the flexibility and ability to deal with atypical and/or unusual situations. Role Description The Group Accountant plays a critical role in the financial operations of Connected Manufacturing, supporting a growing, global organization.
