Program Analyst – Payer EDI Production Support

Blue Water Thinking

• Manage intake, documentation, and tracking of production issues impacting EDI operations • Monitor and support resolution of issues such as data discrepancies, transaction errors, and system anomalies • Assist in analyzing EDI transactions and data flows to identify and document issues • Support root cause analysis efforts by gathering data and collaborating with technical teams • Perform data analysis activities, including running SQL queries and reviewing system data • Search and review transactions and supporting documentation across enterprise systems • Support troubleshooting of reporting discrepancies and data inconsistencies • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including backlog tracking and issue management using tools such as JIRA • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to support issue resolution and communication • Provide status updates and reporting to stakeholders and program leadership • Maintain and update documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) • Assist in identifying process improvements to enhance issue tracking and operational workflows • Support day-to-day operational activities to ensure continuity of EDI-related processes

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Health Informatics, or related discipline
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in Electronic Data Interchange, healthcare technology, IT operations, or Agile environments
  • Experience troubleshooting system or operational issues
  • Experience working in Agile environments and using tools such as JIRA
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and coordination skills

Goldbelt Glacier supports programs administered through the BIA including social services, natural resources management, economic development, law enforcement and detention services, administration of tribal courts, implementation of land and water claim settlements, housing improvement, disaster relief, replacement and repair of schools, repair and maintenance of roads and bridges, and the repair of structural deficiencies on high hazard dams. Summary: The Program Manager – Financial Systems Support (PM-FSS) will provide program management and analytical support within the Financial Systems Division (FSD) under the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) within the BIA Bureau of Trust Funds Administration (BTFA). This position is critical to increasing efficiency and supporting strategic workload management across 13 decentralized regional offices and the central office, following significant workforce reductions in the prior fiscal year. This is a remote position, with potential travel to on-site locations as needed. Responsibilities Essential Job Functions: The PM-FSS will support FSD operations under a reduced staffing model by assisting with data analysis, system support, reporting, and strategic coordination efforts. Qualifications Necessary Skills and Knowledge: - Knowledgeable of industry standard reporting tools, demonstrate technical proficiency in these tools, and committed to providing high-quality products and services. - Use a high degree of professional judgment and ingenuity in interpreting guidelines for application in day-to-day issues and analyses.
