Job purpose: The Senior Program Manager supports the Global Technical Information Group (GTIG) by leading the implementation of cross-functional programs that improve the PlayStation partner information strategy. Blending hands-on program management with portfolio-level oversight, the Senior Program Manager ensures GTIG initiatives are clearly prioritized, effectively tracked in tracking systems, and delivered on schedule. The role partners closely with communications, training, documentation, translations, and other GTIG teams to manage day-to-day execution, maintain delivery momentum, and support central initiatives as needed. This role demands working on both tactical and strategic levels. It involves managing Jira tickets, dependencies, and timelines. The position also supports GTIG leadership in planning, coordinating, and carrying out larger, cross-functional initiatives. Experience & qualifications: Essential - Significant background in program management at a senior level guiding complex, cross-functional initiatives to successful outcomes. - Proficiency with Jira for task tracking, reporting, and workflow management. Own Jira as a program-level system of record to plan, track, and communicate delivery across multiple teams and complex workstreams. - Lead structuring of initiatives, epics, achievements, and dependencies to align cross-functional execution with strategic objectives and timelines. - Monitor program health and delivery risk using Jira data and trends, surfacing insights and driving informed tradeoff and blocking issue decisions. - Demonstrated experience leading and delivering complex programs that drive organizational change, with proficiency in program management and/or change management frameworks, practices, and collaborator engagement. - Strong expertise in managing collaborators, advanced risk mitigation, program structuring, and delivery governance. - Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and align collaborators at all levels. - Operate independently and proactively in ambiguous, high-stakes environments, with a strong delivery and adoption approach. - Highly data-driven and analytical, with advanced planning capabilities, attention to detail, and the ability to build executive-ready reporting. - Background in process development, problem solving, and continuous improvement, with a strong track record of elevating delivery models. - Creative, self-starting approach with a proactive, delivery-focused, and adoption-aware attitude. - Strong negotiation, diplomacy, and advocacy abilities, paired with the perseverance to lead groups through change and uncertainty. - Able to communicate and operate effectively at team and leadership level within GTIG. Improve Methods for Program Management - Documenting processes by defining delivery frameworks, playbooks, standards, governance, and success criteria that can be consistently applied across workstreams. - Introduce and evolve delivery models that integrate program execution with enablement and adoption to enhance business impact. - Lead retrospectives and continuous improvement initiatives to boost delivery efficiency and refine operating practices.
