Clarios

• Lead import/export compliance for U.S. and Canada, acting as the in-house trade compliance subject matter expert • Oversee day-to-day import/export operations • Own core programs: classification, valuation, country of origin, USMCA/FTAs, Reconciliation, Duty Drawback, and denied party screening • Monitor and manage trade remedies (Section 301/232, AD/CVD, IEEPA/successor measures) and advise on duty mitigation strategies • Oversee export controls and sanctions, interface with CBP/CBSA, and lead internal/external audits, inquiries, and voluntary disclosures • Partner with supply chain, logistics, legal, finance, and procurement to embed controls, improve processes, and build a strong compliance culture

Job Requirements

  • 8+ years in trade compliance/customs
  • strong US/CA regulatory knowledge
  • experience with USMCA, Duty Drawback, and audit/enforcement response
  • Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience)

The Command Center Software (CCSW) organization specializes in performing software and hardware delivery. The Command Center Software (CCSW) Platform Migration organization focus is on minimizing the customer's downtime during software upgrades in order to optimize their maintenance experience during the moments that matter. Job DescriptionThe Resource Service Manager (RSM) is responsible for the delivery of the Command Center Software (CCSW) HW/SW Platform migration tasks per our customer’s contract. Through the management of the Project Managers, Technical Delivery teams, and Lifecycle Services teams, the RSM is accountable for the implementation, sustainment, and management of Command Center Software P1 delivery of our maintenance contracts. Success is measured in terms of organizing and planning upgrade tasks per our customer contracts, on schedule delivery of those upgrade tasks, customer satisfaction, and collaborating on establishing processes and procedures around continuously maintaining our customers. RSM is responsible for overseeing and providing support for the implementation of CCSW HW/SW Platform migration projects and will act and be recognized as the leader / focal point for all aspects of their teams assigned project(s). Further responsible for ensuring their team is delivering the contractual scope, on schedule and within budget, while maintaining customer satisfaction. Responsibilities - Contract Management: Accountable for the implementation, sustainment, and management of CCSW Maintenance contracts. - Team Leadership: Manage a team of professionals, including hiring, mentoring, performance management, and rewards planning. - Project Oversight: Ensure teams deliver contractual scope on schedule and within budget while maintaining high customer satisfaction. - Lifecycle Coordination: Work with SW Lab leadership as needed. - Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day operations, including forecasting, cost management, and resource allocation. - Process Improvement: Identify and drive organizational efficiencies and process improvements across departments. - Leads maintenance support programs and directs project team activities. - Utilizes PM tools (critical path analysis, risk assessment, etc.) to resolve complex project issues. - Coordinates internal resources and third-party vendors for flawless execution. - Reports weekly to senior staff and manages relationships with all project resources. - Understands all nine areas of PMBOK project management. - Works directly with the ESI Lab leadership to ensure upgrade migration paths are thoroughly tested with procedures for deployment tested. - Collaborates with team members ensuring all product lifecycle is communicated in a timely manner for efficient delivery while working with the CCSW Contracts team to understand Motorola Solutions contractual responsibilities. Qualifications - Education/Experience: BA/BS degree with 15+ years of experience in project/program management or services management. - Industry Knowledge: Understanding of Motorola Solutions software organization and deployment of those software solutions; Experience with Public Safety communications, Military communications, Civil construction, or IT Networks. - Leadership: Proven experience managing a team of professionals and leading highly complex programs across organizational boundaries. - Tools: Proficient in Google Suite; Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) is a plus. - Certifications: PMP highly desired; CAPM or PM Masters Certificate is a plus. - Skills: Strong aggressive/creative problem-solving, negotiation, interpersonal, and presentation skills. - Must be able to utilize PM tools (schedule, critical path analysis, budget, change order, risk assessment, action item log, etc.) to analyze complex issues and develop resolutions for any issues related to assigned project(s). - Responsible for allocating all necessary resources to meet project objectives and provide high customer satisfaction. - Travel: Ability to travel up to 25%.
