Business Solution Architect

• Lead solutioning across capture and proposal lifecycle (RFP analysis, solution design, submission, orals) • Analyze client business, operational, and technical requirements and translate them into end-to-end solution architectures • Design integrated solutions that align with enterprise architecture, industry standards, and client objectives, addressing both functional and non-functional requirements • Evaluate technology options and recommend the optimal combination of platforms, tools, and services based on scalability, security, and cost considerations • Design solutions leveraging cloud, data/analytics, interoperability (FHIR/HL7), and cybersecurity • Collaborate with capture, pricing, technology, sales, and delivery teams to develop integrated solutions, including staffing models, basis of estimates (BOEs), proposal artifacts, CONOPS architecture diagrams, and implementation strategies • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CMS/MITA, FAR, and federal security standards • Contribute to win themes, discriminators, and client presentations • Serve as a trusted advisor to internal and external stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into clear, business-focused messaging • Identify and mitigate technical and operational risks associated with proposed solutions

Job Requirements

  • 7+ years in solution architecture, account management, consulting, business process design, or technical leadership with a focus on government or HHS programs
  • Experience supporting state or federal HHS programs and proposal efforts
  • Knowledge of healthcare systems (CMS, Medicaid/Medicare, Affordable Care Act, SNAP/TANF programs, public health programs) including claims processing, eligibility, provider, and member enrollment
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and modern architectures
  • Familiarity with health data standards (FHIR, HL7, EDI/X12)
  • Strong technical writing and ability to translate complex concepts into proposal content
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, NIST, HIPAA, CMS MARS-E) is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
