• Architect of Regulatory Credibility • Lead the SEC registration process as a private fund adviser (Form ADV Part 1A, 1B, and Part 2 Adviser Brochure) and manage ongoing compliance. • Design and implement written compliance policies covering portfolio management, conflicts of interest, fiduciary duties, custody oversight, and AML/KYC frameworks. • Conduct annual compliance reviews and testing; prepare SEC examination responses and handle any regulatory inquiries. • Stay current with evolving SEC private fund rules (Reg PF, current enforcement priorities) and translate them into practical Infra One policies. • Define staffing, systems, and office infrastructure requirements to meet SEC expectations for "adequate" organizational substance (not formulaic, but credible). • Establish procedures for monitoring sub-advised GPs and ensuring they comply with fund mandates and risk limits. • Oversee books and records management (6-year retention, email preservation, trade capture, decision logs) and coordinate with IT on cybersecurity compliance. • Design and oversee compliance monitoring across Infra One's portfolio of funds (each with its own structure and GP).
Job Requirements
- 7–12 years of compliance experience at a registered investment adviser (RIA), private fund platform, hedge fund, or PE firm.
- Deep knowledge of the Advisers Act, Reg D, Form ADV, and SEC examination standards for private fund advisers.
- Hands-on experience with multi-fund governance, sub-adviser monitoring, and conflicts of interest management.
- Familiarity with custody rules, AML/KYC frameworks, and cybersecurity compliance standards.
- Prior experience with SEC registration, Form ADV filings, and exam cycles.
Benefits
- Salary Range: $200,000–$280,000 base + 20% bonus

Role Description The FIU SAR Control Investigator Sr. is responsible for assessing SAR recommended cases received from the offshore team members. They will document findings and provide feedback to offshore investigators. The incumbent shall make the decision on these cases for final SAR determinations. The FIU SAR Control Investigator is responsible for the preparation of the suspicious activity report narrative for all cases recommended for SAR filing by the offshore team, ensuring all relevant information is included in the SAR. - Evaluates SAR recommended cases from offshore investigators to ensure/determine if SAR filing is warranted. - Reviews SAR recommended cases from Offshore Investigators to ascertain accuracy and completeness. - Analyzes activity identified, along with the information gathered, and uses sound judgement, decision-making skills, and discretion in making reasonable determinations in case investigations performed. - Analyzes information identified/provided to ensure the correct transactions and subjects are being reported in the Suspicious Activity Report. - Reviews activity being deemed suspicious and makes adjustments as necessary. - Documents quality review of SAR Recommended cases. - Completes Case checklist to document findings/deficiencies on SAR recommended cases. - Provides feedback, as needed, to Offshore Investigators and FIU Management on the results of the quality review. - Includes information on general tracking log to monitor team progress and identify training needs. - Prepares SAR narrative by reviewing information obtained/identified and writing a complete and accurate SAR Narrative. - Identifies detail suspicious activity, investigation processes, location and timeline of activity, conductors of activity, and documentation available from investigation. - Updates SAR form with Narrative and changes to SAR form fields, as necessary. - Ensures all SARs are submitted for filing within regulatory (initial/90-day follow-up) and FIU Team SLA expectations. - Prioritizes work as needed in order to meet deadlines. - Escalates cases and provides supporting information to FIU Management to discuss case for change in recommended decision. - Works closely with FIU Management to develop and recommend methods to enhance quality and efficiency of SAR Recommendation cases based on case review findings and observations. - Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area, including observing all policies, procedures, laws, regulations, and risk limits specific to their role. - Raises and reports known or suspected violations to the appropriate Company authority in a timely fashion. - Performs other related duties as required. Qualifications - Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Criminal Justice, or related studies. - Minimum Experience: 5 or more years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience, with emphasis preferably in anti-money laundering, fraud or securities. - Hands-on experience in investigation of cases which involves the analysis of large amounts of data to identify unusual patterns of activity. - Extensive SAR writing experience. - Sound knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act (including the USA PATRIOT Act), Anti-Money Laundering, OFAC sanctions and other AML laws and regulations. - Regulatory compliance experience including support of policy and procedure reviews/updates, fulfilling regulatory agency and/or law enforcement requests, reviewing suspicious activity, interpreting OFAC sanctions risk, and customer due diligence. The Building & Construction team provides assurance, testing, inspection, and certification services and building science solutions to deliver Total Quality Assurance to the built environment. The Building & Construction Product Inspector is responsible for performing inspections at manufacturing facilities to ensure that products are being manufactured in accordance with established materials, processes, and documented production requirements.
