This individual will input data into the Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS) and including post award management. Demonstrates working knowledge of all facets of role, relevant regulations, and organizational and departmental policies and procedures. Performs other duties and projects as assigned. Performs all duties in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies and procedures. Primary Key Performance Areas KPA 1 – Develops, reviews, negotiates, and finalizes clinical research budgets, including research coverage analyses - Develops and maintains a standardized research service pricing list, updating it annually and clarifying budgets in relation to the study protocol, study calendar and other study related documenting in accordance with clinical trials budgeting policy. - Develops and negotiates research budgets (with internal and external stakeholders). - Generates coverage analyses for research projects utilizing knowledge of billing codes (i.e. ICD/CPT codes). - Reviews informed consent forms to ensure language is consistent with research contracts. KPA 2 Inputs, maintains, and revises data related to research in the Clinical Trials Management System (CTMS) - Tracks and reports financial status of clinical trials, including budget status. - Oversees and ensures research billing process to ensure timely payments and compliant billing processes. - Provides primary support and oversight of the health system's clinical trial management system. - Presents updates on the status of drafting and negotiating budgets for clinical research. Position Qualifications/Requirements Education Bachelors’ degree in Accounting or other related field required. Certifications/Licenses Valid state Driver’s License for travel to satellite offices and offsite meetings. Previous Experience - Working knowledge of Federal, State, and Local Regulations, IRB requirements and submissions. - 3-5 years experience in medical billing or research budget negotiation. - Proficient in excel and accounting software, preferably clinical trial management system (CTMS). Role Description The Remote FP&A Analyst plays a crucial role in Forefront’s financial management and strategic decision-making processes in collaboration with leadership. This individual will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to drive clear understanding of business results through regular reporting, analytics, and business insights. This person will practice sound business judgment when making decisions and recommendations and will consider the relevance/impact of each decision on the business. - Perform in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and scenario modeling, to evaluate the financial performance of various central services departments. - Develop and maintain complex financial models, forecasts, and budgets using tools such as Excel and Power BI to assist in strategic planning and decision-making processes. - Create visually compelling and interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI to present financial insights and performance metrics to senior management and department heads. - Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to revenue and expenses to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. - Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management and department heads to improve financial performance, operational efficiency, and cost management. - Collaborate with operational teams to assess and optimize resource allocation, cost containment strategies, and revenue enhancement opportunities. - Support the preparation of financial reports, presentations, and dashboards for executive leadership and board meetings. - Adhere to compliance and complete compliance training. - Perform other ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as requested. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or related field is required. - Master's degree or CPA designation preferred. - Minimum of 1+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis or consulting; relevant internship experience is accepted. - Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, advanced Excel skills and advanced knowledge in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities with a keen attention to detail. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner. - Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. - High level of integrity, ethical judgment, and confidentiality when handling sensitive financial data. - Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required. • Serve as the primary liaison between Sales, Legal, and Finance to help accelerate the review and approval of complex orders. • Collaborate with Sales to build and manage quotes within Salesforce, applying internal policy expertise to ensure quotes align with internal policies, while helping Sales to meet customer needs and maximize revenue. • Manage internal escalations for policy exceptions arising from the Sales team, and assist in developing creative solutions to reduce friction and risks during the sales process. • Assist with cross-functional initiatives to drive continuous improvement across the quote-to-cash process; identify and implement solutions that reduce friction and resolve systemic operational challenges within Salesforce.

• Apply knowledge of insurance subrogation processes, industry standards, client guidelines, and regulatory requirements while auditing Third Party Liability (TPL) cases. • Review case documentation, system updates, and recovery actions to evaluate compliance with internal Standard Operating procedures (SOPs) and quality benchmarks. • Perform quality audits on subrogation cases to ensure compliance with internal SOPs, client guidelines, and regulatory requirements. • Review case files, documentation, liability determination, and system updates to evaluate accuracy and completeness. • Document audit results, quality scores, and findings in internal quality tracking and reporting systems. • Maintain audit documentation and supporting evidence in accordance with quality and compliance standards. • Provide structured feedback and coaching insights to Operations and Training teams based on audit outcomes. • Identify recurring quality issues, process gaps, and improvement opportunities through audit observations. • Participate in calibration sessions and quality assurance activities to maintain scoring consistency and alignment across auditors. • Ensure audit practices remain aligned with internal policies, procedures and regulatory requirements related to process. • Analyze audit trends and outcomes to perform root cause analysis and identify operational risks. • Support continuous improvement initiatives, quality enhancement efforts, and process optimization activities.
