Job Description

Quality Analyst – Subrogation, TPL

EXL

• Apply knowledge of insurance subrogation processes, industry standards, client guidelines, and regulatory requirements while auditing Third Party Liability (TPL) cases. • Review case documentation, system updates, and recovery actions to evaluate compliance with internal Standard Operating procedures (SOPs) and quality benchmarks. • Perform quality audits on subrogation cases to ensure compliance with internal SOPs, client guidelines, and regulatory requirements. • Review case files, documentation, liability determination, and system updates to evaluate accuracy and completeness. • Document audit results, quality scores, and findings in internal quality tracking and reporting systems. • Maintain audit documentation and supporting evidence in accordance with quality and compliance standards. • Provide structured feedback and coaching insights to Operations and Training teams based on audit outcomes. • Identify recurring quality issues, process gaps, and improvement opportunities through audit observations. • Participate in calibration sessions and quality assurance activities to maintain scoring consistency and alignment across auditors. • Ensure audit practices remain aligned with internal policies, procedures and regulatory requirements related to process. • Analyze audit trends and outcomes to perform root cause analysis and identify operational risks. • Support continuous improvement initiatives, quality enhancement efforts, and process optimization activities.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in: Business, Insurance, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in insurance claims, subrogation operations, or quality assurance.
  • Prior experience in auditing insurance cases.
  • Medical terminology - preferred
  • Works independently in a remote environment and delivers exceptional results.
  • Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical skills, and attention to detail.
  • Detail orientated with a high degree of accuracy
  • Strong problem solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
  • Possesses excellent time management and work prioritization skills.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and with general computer literacy.
  • Must be self-motivated to complete work in a timely manner to meet deadlines.
  • Possess ability to maintain and promote good working relationships with co-workers, management, and clients.
