Role Description The Remote FP&A Analyst plays a crucial role in Forefront’s financial management and strategic decision-making processes in collaboration with leadership. This individual will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to drive clear understanding of business results through regular reporting, analytics, and business insights. This person will practice sound business judgment when making decisions and recommendations and will consider the relevance/impact of each decision on the business. - Perform in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and scenario modeling, to evaluate the financial performance of various central services departments. - Develop and maintain complex financial models, forecasts, and budgets using tools such as Excel and Power BI to assist in strategic planning and decision-making processes. - Create visually compelling and interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI to present financial insights and performance metrics to senior management and department heads. - Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to revenue and expenses to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. - Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management and department heads to improve financial performance, operational efficiency, and cost management. - Collaborate with operational teams to assess and optimize resource allocation, cost containment strategies, and revenue enhancement opportunities. - Support the preparation of financial reports, presentations, and dashboards for executive leadership and board meetings. - Adhere to compliance and complete compliance training. - Perform other ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as requested. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or related field is required. - Master's degree or CPA designation preferred. - Minimum of 1+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis or consulting; relevant internship experience is accepted. - Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, advanced Excel skills and advanced knowledge in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities with a keen attention to detail. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner. - Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. - High level of integrity, ethical judgment, and confidentiality when handling sensitive financial data. - Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required. Must be able to learn new software quickly. - Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with staff, leadership, and the public. - Ability to use time productively and contribute to high levels of company operational efficiency and effectiveness. - Curiosity and enthusiasm for leveraging technology and AI tools (e.g., Claude, Copilot) to improve financial processes and drive smarter, faster analysis. Requirements - Base pay range is $75,000 - $90,000 per year. Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education, certifications, or training.
