Position Summary Serving as a strategic partner to the business, the HR Business Partner II provides consultation and guidance to management on employee relations and organizational matters. They implement and drive adoption of people programs and practices that attract, engage and retain a strong and diverse workforce. As a culture champion and change agent, this individual works to continuously improve the employee experience, enhancing individual and organizational effectiveness. They will provide coaching and guidance to management on performance, employee relations matters, change efforts, recognition and trust building. What You Will Do - Provide consultative support to the business, managing and resolving employee relations and performance issues; includes policy interpretation - Provide coaching, guidance and communications support to management at all levels to drive individual and organizational effectiveness while boosting engagement - Act as a culture champion, promoting company values to guide decision-making and support thoughtful and effective change management in a fast-paced environment - Partner with the business to identify and drive practices that enhance the employee experience in a remote environment; act as liaison between the business and People & Culture team to drive program adoption, identify workforce trends and implement improvements - Partner with leadership in support of talent assessment, development, and succession planning; includes providing support during restructures - Provide guidance to the business on compensation related activities, including job description development, pay decisions, and education on pay practices - Perform other duties and special projects as assigned What You Will Bring - Bachelor's degree and/or SHRM certification is required - 4+ years’ relevant experience in human resources, preferably in an HRBP or employee relations role - Broad working knowledge of HR disciplines including federal and state employment law, compensation, performance management practices, and talent development is required - Experience working in a highly regulated industry is desired - Proven ability to build strong relationships and effectively communicate and influence across multiple levels, functions and geographies - Strong business acumen with proven writing, facilitation, and presentation skills - Proven experience implementing programs and practices that drive employee engagement; data/trend analysis skills preferred - Creative thinker with strong conflict management and consultation skills; ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities You'll Benefit From At Careforth your well-being matters.
