Cloud Administrator – AWS

• Deploy, configure, and maintain services and applications within AWS • Manage cloud maintenance activities including upgrades, patches, backups, and resource configuration across AWS environments • Administer data standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements • Develop and maintain processes for Business Continuity Planning (BCP), Disaster Recovery (DR), and High Availability (HA) in coordination with IT Operations and Development teams • Provide diagnostic support for hardware, networks, and software in cloud-based environments • Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for multi-cloud infrastructure • Collaborate with IT R&D and IT Operations teams to enhance cross-functional communication and improve operational efficiency • Implement process improvements to optimize AWS & Azure cloud environments • Obtain and maintain relevant certifications to stay current with evolving technologies • Maintain consistency in approach/standards across cloud environments • Participate in after-hours and on-call support rotations

- Experience with network configurations, VPNs, firewalls, and hybrid cloud connectivity
- EXCEPTIONAL knowledge of AWS & Azure core services, cloud storage (Azure Blob/Files, AWS S3/EFS), Kubernetes, and resource management
- Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving hardware, network, and software issues in cloud and hybrid environments
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills. Ability to identify, understand and take appropriate action on projects, issues, and support
