About the job: As a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst, you excel at analyzing data, identifying insights, and telling compelling stories through your analyses. You are comfortable both diving into the technical details while also turning your insights into an actionable story for business stakeholders. You are a self-starter who takes initiative to identify operational bottlenecks and automate processes. Come ready to face daily challenges, including: - Partner with OppFi’s Marketing team to find new customers and optimize engagement - Prepare key metrics and reporting for OppFi’s Senior Leadership Team through Weekly Business Reviews - Design and evaluate A/B tests to optimize customer engagement through email and SMS channels using Braze - Monitor conversion funnel performance to identify opportunities to streamline application processing - Develop reporting for multi-touch attribution to ensure marketing dollars are backed by data-driven insights into customer acquisition and retention - Develop reporting and monitoring to ensure compliance of marketing initiatives and communications - Migrate key dashboards and reports onto OppFi’s new loan origination and servicing systems - Combine and analyze both structured and unstructured data to create meaningful analyses. Extract, segment, and report on data in clear graphs, charts and other visualizations. Provide strategic recommendations based on the data to improve our business. - Partner with Marketing to automate and streamline business processes. Be unafraid to break existing rules, reimagine new processes, and build them. Focus not just on Data, but Data + Action. - You will be the data expert for OppFi’s Marketing team. This highly-visible role will also have opportunities to partner across several teams such as Sales, Finance, Operations, Credit, and Technology What you will bring to the team: - Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field, especially mathematics, statistics, economics, finance, operations research, etc. - 2+ years of experience in business intelligence or data analytics - Advanced experience in SQL - Experience using BI Tools to create dashboards and data visualizations (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.) - Experience with Excel or other spreadsheet applications - Experience working with conversion funnel optimization and A/B testing (preferred) - Programming experience with Python (preferred) - Past experience in a high-growth startup or the financial services industry is a plus Reports to: Senior Business Intelligence Manager Job Level: Senior Analyst Total Rewards and Benefits: At OppFi, we are committed to fostering a fair and equitable workplace.
