Technical Service Engineer – EV Charger
Lincoln Electric
• Deliver expert-level support for the EV charger product line, diagnosing and resolving customer issues with speed and precision. • Partner with the customer service team to ensure seamless communication and resolution of technical challenges. • Travel to customer locations as needed to provide hands-on troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance support. • Create and maintain detailed records of service activities, including customer interactions, technical problems, and corrective actions. • Conduct training sessions for customers, field service staff, and internal teams on the proper use, maintenance, and repair of EV chargers. • Gather customer feedback and field insights to identify opportunities for product enhancements and service process improvements. • Contribute technical expertise in the development of service strategies, programs, and best practices. • Ensure all service and repair activities meet company standards, safety requirements, and applicable industry regulations.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of technical experience, preferably in EV charging systems, industrial machinery, or capital equipment.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with power electronics.
- Technical degree preferred (Engineering, Electrical, or related field). Equivalent experience with strong technical achievements will also be considered.
- Proven track record of diagnosing and resolving complex technical challenges.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across functions.
- Skilled in using technical support tools, diagnostic software, and service management systems.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
