The Bioinformatics Scientist – Field Applications is responsible for the bioinformatics support for IDT’s secondary analysis software Archer Analysis which is utilized by Next Generation Sequencing product lines FusionPlex, VariantPlex, LiquidPlex and Immunoverse. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: - Coordinate and conduct software trainings and data reviews using Archer Analysis and associated data at customer sites and/or remotely. - Provide remote/onsite customer educations on software pipelines and features. - Investigate and resolve customer inquiries and troubleshooting cases via email and calls. - Discuss and resolve challenging cases collaboratively with other members of the Customer Success team. - Engage in pre-sales conversations when technical expertise is required. The essential requirements of the job include: - Postgraduate degree in Genomics or Bioinformatics (or a related discipline).
