Job Description

Indirect Procurement Buyer

CLEAResult

• Support all procurement activities for the organization • Responsible for Indirect Procurement Category analysis, assisting with the implementation of Category strategy and development of preferred supplier lists • Experience sourcing Travel as well as other areas of indirect procurement is ideal • Demonstrate an understanding of Procurement and Supply Chain concepts • Assist senior personnel with RFx creation, bid analysis and conducting negotiations • Analyze and understand category market trends, pricing and negotiating levers, supplier base, and manage the overall Indirect Procurement Spend • Review and evaluate contract terms to ensure supplier performance and minimize risk • Lead projects across organization to include policy and procedure design, supplier selection, and reporting • Advocate for implementation of procurement policies and procedures across the organization

Job Requirements

  • Preference for a Bachelor’s degree in either Supply Chain, Business, Finance or another related field
  • 3+ years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or Strategic Sourcing, with a focus on indirect spend categories
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Familiar with project management concepts
  • Workday or Salesforce (CLM Software) experience is a plus.
