Days, M-F 8:00am – 4:30 PM, Remote This position is responsible for the timely and accurate resolution of accounts receivable for IU Health entities supported by Revenue Cycle System Services. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, provider enrollment, charge description master and fee schedule maintenance, claim submission, third party follow up, cash posting, denial appeal and recovery, audit defense and recovery, and patient collections. Position adheres to departmental productivity and quality standards in support of operational goals. How you'll make an impact The Accounts Receivable Manager will lead and manage a team of Accounts Receivable Associates, Team Leads, and Specialists, overseeing the entire Accounts Receivable process for one or more divisions to monitor the accuracy and efficiency of the process while complying with internal controls and ensuring a high level of internal customer satisfaction. This role involves implementing process improvements, coaching the team on resolving complex Accounts Receivable issues, and collaborating with various departments to optimize Accounts Receivable procedures. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, extensive experience in Accounts Receivable or other finance operations, familiarity with concepts such as productivity and cost-per-transaction, with a demonstrated record of continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage a team of Accounts Receivable Associates and Analysts, providing guidance, mentorship, and support. - Collaborate with finance, IT, and other departments to ensure seamless integration and optimization of Accounts Receivable processes. - Oversee the end-to-end process of acquisition conversions to the NAC. - Collaborate with the offshore team to prepare and present weekly project status reports to the M&A conversion team. - Ensure timely and efficient completion of conversions with the offshore team. - Work closely with all resources, including the M&A Team, NAC, and branches, to facilitate smooth operations. - Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement innovative solutions to enhance Accounts Receivable operations. - Prepare and present regular reports on Accounts Receivable operations performance to senior management. - Foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the Accounts Receivable team. About You Required: - Associate's degree and 5 years of related experience required. - Requires some functional and industry experience and/or expertise.
