Lead People Analyst
ezCater
• Lead end-to-end development of dynamic dashboards including but not limited to headcount/workforce planning, attrition, performance, recruiting, DEI, compensation and engagement to help enable a self-service experience for immediate team stakeholders and cross-functional leaders. • Help launch a series of dynamic dashboards for C-level executives along with business leaders throughout the organization. • Deliver data literacy training focused on data storytelling, dashboard interpretation, and action planning. • Run discovery sessions with our People leadership team and cross-functional business leaders to help translate business questions into actionable reports. Use data to address business questions and help identify historical trends while providing clear recommendations. • Play a key role in building our capabilities to deliver predictive analyses across the business, helping leaders proactively identify future needs and opportunities, and the recommended actions to get there. • Partner with key members of the People Operations team to surface operational gaps & data quality issues. • In collaboration with our Sr HRIS Specialist, identify integration opportunities and work with data engineering/analytics teams to shape data models, joins, and extracts that support robust, multi-source reporting (HRIS, ATS, survey tools, compensation systems, learning systems, etc.). • In partnership with our Sr HRIS Specialist, you will own the creation of people related reports related to workforce planning. • Help create and maintain documentation of key metrics, definitions and any relevant reporting processes and/or procedures to bring awareness and ensure consistency across dashboards. • Uphold data privacy, governance, and security best practices and handle sensitive employee data with care. • Manage stakeholder expectations, timelines and change management, and communicate complex analytical concepts to technical & non-technical audiences. • Continuously improve tooling & processes by automating repetitive workflows, streamlining reporting, and implementing feedback from users. • Partner with Data Technology team to integrate platform data into structured data marts.
Job Requirements
- 3-5 years building interactive dashboards in a data visualization platform, any experience with Sigma is ideal.
- At least 1 year in a people analytics function or closely collaborating with a people team.
- Expert proficiency with SQL and experience working with relational databases and data warehouses; comfort joining multiple tables and optimizing queries. Python experience is a plus.
- Strong blend of descriptive, predictive and prescriptive analytics experience. You are skilled at analyzing historical data to identify trends and leveraging this data to identify future needs and suggested actions to get there.
- Experience integrating and visualizing data across HRIS, ATS, performance management and compensation systems; familiarity with UKG, Greenhouse and Culture Amp is ideal.
- Excellent communication skills and a proven track record partnering with immediate People team members and cross-functional teams at various levels with an ability to tailor messaging to various audiences and levels.
- Demonstrated ability to translate ambiguous business questions into clear metrics, visual designs, and analytical outputs that drive decisions.
- Strong attention to detail, an entrepreneurial mindset, and a bias toward action. You thrive in an environment with shifting priorities and, at times, ambiguity.
- Commitment to data privacy & governance, particularly when working with highly confidential and sensitive employee data.
- Hands-on experience using IBM Cognos BI for report development and/or dashboard creation is ideal.
- Experience building data models with dbt is nice to have.
